My link units are acting very funny.

A lot of the time, instead of seeing link units, I see a large area that says 'Page could not be found' with a 404 error, where the link units SHOULD be.

Which doesn't make sense, because the google sydicate JS line is the SAME as my other sites, and they are working just fine.

I copied the code exactly; and like I said, the final call to the JS is the same page. So what gives?

Plus I cant seem to log in this morning.

What is the message you are receiving when you attempt to log on to your AdSense account?

Sounds like a ban, but I don't want to worry you if it isn't.

Yamaha_R1 -

I recommend contacting adsense-support@google.com. They should be able to tell you what's happening.

No not banned.

Just the adsense page would never load. Its working again.

Link units still not working. Working on one site, 404 window on the other.

Contacted adsense. Still no reply.

Maybe there's an error in your link code. Why not cut and past it directly from the adsense site?

I did copy/paste exactly.

Thats why I dont understand.

I just get a huge white strip with the 404 error inside.

I contact adsense support, and they have not replied.

Is there any chance you clicked Alternate URL when you created the code but you didn't provide an alternate URL?
That's exactly what would happen! (If there were no ads to show).

Try using the collapsing script below. Save this code as google_adsense_script.html and link to it as alternate URL.

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd ">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
<title></title>
<script src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/google_adsense_script.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
</head>
<body style="background-color: transparent;">
</body>
</html>

Do you have any type of ad blocker on your system? Have you rebooted your PC?
