Books on AdSense

Hi all I'm new to this forum and new to AdSense. I see books advertised for about $100.00 or so promising to make you thousands with AdSense. I have just written them off as I do all infomercials. Are there any legal ways to increase ones earnings with AdSense? If so where do I go to find these tips?

If you scroll to the top of the page, just above the 'Google Adsense' title you'll see a link to the Adsense-specific library. There's lots of good information to be found in there without having to wade through the chaff.

Some people like to read something "in their hands" as as opposed to online. If that's the case I highly recommend "Building your business with Google for dummies". Has everything you need/should know about advertising with Google.

Correct. It's the best book I've read about adsense, even at my level.

I think I will stick to the forum there is enough here to keep me busy for quite a while.

I am not looking to make a fortune I'd just like to get a check.

I have had AdSense for a few months now but only on the portal page of my forum and that is a seldom-viewed page. Just two days ago I added AdSense to the header on my web site so it now appears just above my top navigation on all pages and I added it to the overall header of my forum. The first full day I earned $1.46 and so far today I have earned $1.19. Not much I know but much better than the 0 to 8 cents I was earning before. Now if I can just triple what I am doing now I’ll get a check.
