We have a site that has lots of unique content added by people, with a master search facility. Most people on our site will look at numerous products, but we know that ideally people want to look at several articles at once and compare them, and hence the ideal way would be to have a master search facility and when they click on the results a seperate page is opened. Hence multiple windows will be opened.

We would like to put adsense on each page is this allowed?

Read the question again...if you are talking about opening a new window for an adsense clicked ad answer is no, If you are talking about adsense search results you can select new browser window option in settings. If your question is can you display adsense on these resulting search pages...not quite sure if you could do that. Since the search results are the ads do not see why, unless it is an attempt to generate higher revenue from this function.

I don't see how this would be against the TOS.

If the page you are adding Adsense to has content and the user is just deciding to open that content in a new browser window (via a right click or whatever), I don't see a problem with it.

As long as you're not putting adsense on a popup window and as long as you're not making the adsense links themselves open up in a new window, then I'm not sure where the problem would be.

From Google AdSense Program Policies

Clicks on Google ads must not result in a new browser window being launched.

Thus, this new windown rule is applied only to a click on the AdSense ads.
