Ad Colors

Same as text or a different color to catch the eye?

I am trialling ads a different color to the text on one of my sites. It hasnt been running long enough to make any determination as to whether ads of a different color have an effect on 'ad blindness'.

According to the AdSense help pages, they recommend ads in the same color as text on the page to remove this ad blindness, but I would have thought ads of a different color would remove this blindess.

I would be interested to hear what other peoples' thoughts are.

Any particular ad colors seem to do better than others?
