Hi,

Google Adsense report shows always 10-20% less number of clicks than In my webstats statistics counters(which shows exit links/adsense links).

What could be the reason? Is this phenomena is know issue.

Your counter could be wrong. AFAIK, no AdSense counter/tracker can reliably track clicks on Google ads made in the Firefox browser. Most of these trackers can't even track Firefox visitors. Some of them can, but they use heuristic methods, which means they are not 100% precise.

I get absolutely perfect AdSense click tracking in Firefox browsers. If a tool doesn't track them properly, it's the tool's fault; Firefox handles this sort of thing just fine.

If the number of clicks in your AS reports matches exactly your 3rd party tracker figures, then I'd like to know what tracker you are using (but only if you have been using the tool for over a month).

I've been using the tool for less than a month, and so I'll keep quiet until I see further. :)

I have two web stat counter, both of them confirms that only 13% of my visitors are using firefox and remaining are using versions of IE.

I also check the exit links in the stat counters, which all (mostly) show ads/exit links from adsense relevant to the content in my site. So those click report the web stat counter cannot be maked up right.

In this case i have discrepancy of data right? Is this issue is something to do with the invalid clicks?

You can take to the bank that Google's stats are correct. However there are sometimes delays in reporting, and they may not credit you with every click - e.g. PSA's, double-clicking and a whole bunch of stuff that could be "invalid clicks" may not be counted (or may be held back and dumped into your account later).

IMO your click tracking reporting is likely to have lots of potential sources of error, and you should look closely at what it measures and what assumptions it makes if you really need to balance your numbers against Google's accurately. IMO it's worth doing tracking but it's not worth losing sleep over minor discrepancies.
