our stats are very stable, so it is very noticable when something is awry.
Tuesday definitely looked like there was some algo tweaking. I hope it will be only temporary, because our yesterday's eCPM was 50% of our daily average in July.
I had a bad day yesterday although it appears today is starting off great - maybe some leftovers from yesterday.
What I did find strange is that while checking a backlink request I found a directory type site totally in English that was showing my German Language ad in the site's AdSense block. The directory page was for the Country name and for our German ad we don't have any search terms with that in it - only the German equivalents of our local area names. We do have English ads for our Country name.
This should not happen.
When did you email them on this issue? Don't forget they are in the PST time zone, and it can take a couple of days for support to respond.
Well over a week ago, which is the longest given time on any pages.
This is what I get:
"Account Not Active
An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as your application is currently in review. Within a week of your application date, we'll review your application and follow-up with you via email. Once you are approved to join AdSense, you'll be able to log in to your account and get started."
It's just a black hole. I tried to contact them now over the web interface, in case my email is funny, but I registered under my long existing gmail account so, I dunno. Strange. At least if you would get a rejection you could move on, try something else.
but today's Yahoo update has decimated my traffic :(
There was an update?...Never noticed!
Whilst I do rank well in Yahoo! I hardly earn a thing from their click thrus and I have absolutely no idea why.
I've had 3 spectacular days -- Monday thru Wednesday -- with Tuesday at double my average earnings -- over $130.
Now this morning my stats are stuck at 1 click and 3 cents!
Usually by this time of the morning I have many more page views and at least $5.00.
If stats are "sticking", I think it may not be a network wide problem at any given time. Maybe delays are random for different sectors and more of a rolling problem?
