Does this option mean that i will not be able to receive the cheque for my earnings or does it mean that the cheque i recieved will not be cashed by the bank ....confused

It means that Google will not send the cheque. Your earnings will be added to next month's cheque.

And then they will disable your account before the aggregated check is sent out. Get the money out and into the bank each month! You never know what is lurking around the bend.

Many people routinely roll their checks over using the hold payment option, usually due to high check cashing fees in their home country. I wouldn't worry about losing money from being suspended unless you are doing something against the rules.

but then again Compworld in another recent thread hasn't done anything wrong (apparently-although obviously I, nor indeed anyone other than compworld, do not know all the facts)

I would agree wiht one of the above posters. take the money as soon as you can.
