Yes. I'm not sure how it works exactly but they've been appearing on my site since the 1st of July. I've been enormously happy with the results so far. I'm not expecting it to last long though. It just shows up in your profits like all of your other AS ads. There's no way to tell in the stats which ads are CPM and which ads are CPC. I imagine that if they're a big success, AS may change their stats reporting.

We had a long discussion on this -
[webmasterworld.com...]

ASA said they'll look into my site to see why CPM caused a decline in revenue instead of the opposite. Still waiting for the response. My guess is that if you're doing really well with CPC, with high ECPM and CTR, then CPM ads must be really really high to make it work.

I get as little as 0.1 % CTR some days, and CPM adverts would be great for me!

I have read all about how they jumble both CPC and CPM adds together, but I can tell you that I have not noticed any extra income since the CPM adds aparently started.

As I feel my sites would be great for CPM advertising (very low CTR) I am very keen to use CPM more. I wished G would roll out CPM as a option for putlishers to use exclusivley.

My numbers have all been up substantially since the advent of site-targeted CPM ads on my site.

It could be coincidence, of course; maybe Google has just improved its targeting of CPC ads. (I don't monitor the ads that closely; that's just too much bother to do on a site with hundreds of subtopics.)

Some of them look a bit like PSAs--i.e., they consist of large text spread over the entire ad unit.

i dont have any adblocks that are compatible with CPM ads, but my numbers are also up substantially since the CPM program was released.

perhaps the often-proposed prediction is true, that introducing CPM would bring more advertisers into adwords. if true, this should result in a benefit for most publishers since bids for CPM comptete with bids for CPC.
