A $0.00 Click?

Since March, < $0.05 clicks. Today, a $0.00 click? What 's next?

I've been part of Adsense for 10 months. It seemed a good value with fairly consistent and significant EPC.

In March, I started seeing clicks earning $0.03 -- as low as $0.02 since then.

Today, after close of biz, I was amazed to see one click earning $0.00 on a page that's recently produced clicks earning > $1.50 per click.

Pretty sure it's not PSA connected; I use the collapsing script.

Anyone else experience this? Is it common, rare, a glitch?

What's next?

Judging by the pattern you will be paying for clicks :)

I've read here that sometimes a click occurs but the user does not stay on that site long enough for the click to count. In other words, they click an add, then quickly exit the landing page, hit the back button or close the browswer down - perhaps even before the landing page even loads.

The click shows up in your stats, but the advertiser is not charged for the click.

Pretty stupid of Google to report it, if so.

I would think in reality there are any number of small rounding errors, differences in update time of clicks, earnings, ctr, visitors etc, as well as disallowed od added clickdumps etc. So at best the thing is a very good guide but not in real time.
