Well since I can't ask for your website address and people won't post it anyways, I want to ask you guys some questions. What is your site about? Does it sell something or offer something valuable to visitors? How many unique hits do you get? Did you make your site specifically to put Adsense ads on and make money or did you have your site first and then add Adsense?

And if you want to answer so more questions. How long hav e you had your site? How much do you make off Adsense? Do you turn a profit after you subtract the money you put into the site?

None of these questions are important for getting started with AdSense. There are plenty of paths to the top.

P.S. It's not clear to me why you're asking, since I just found that other thread in which you said you'd been banned from AdSense already. There's a separate affiliate programs forum here at WebmasterWorld that might be of more interest to you.

I think we had something similar a few months back, anyway, here goes I have no problem with this and it would be interesting to see others' info since the entire trade in my niche are chasing after me all the time therefore this revelation does not worry me one iota:

1. Niche construction products
2. Sell these products, offer technical advice, information & trade promotion
3. 10+ years
4. Site first, obviously
5. 2,500+ uniques per day
6. $2,000 per month, down 40% this month!
7. 100% profit

As an extra piece of info:

8. Years in niche sector - 37 years
9. Business in niche sector 200 years!
10. Privately owned or public - Private (family)

Enjoy!

on single word: WOW

On my side, I have since few years left my wine-making activity where I could proudly say "since 1427"...

I think I will JUST have to start again, even jusy to keep the thread....

To be honest the family must have been in this business sector for more than 200 years however we cannot trace before that.

Believe it or not the business just seems to have appeared from thin air 200 years ago in the UK as an already thriving established business!

The problem is that a lot of records were destroyed in the Second World War since that particular city was very heavily bombed.

I have the inkling we were Russian Jews but no way of proving it without a DNA test and I'm not too sure that would prove anything either. The reason I think this is that there were many Russians who arrived in the UK during the early 1800's.

Why Jewish? The nature of trade we are in and that the business was a large supplier to the Jewish community and they would only entrust this type of work with other Jews.

This suggest to me that the family must have already been trade experienced and operating before arriving, other than that I have no idea even though we have tried researching.

Many of my family have gone to the grave harbouring secrets they refused to reveal...it's infuriated my 80 year old mother!

I keep emailing them about it but they haven't replied, prolly because its the weekend and stuff. Even if I dont get my account back i can make a new one with a new site and address and name. That site wasn't getting much money because there wasn't much on it and no reason for people to come back. My friends haven't taken photos of themselves or recorded their music, it was just band member bios. I'm hoping to find some new idea to make a site on to get people to come back to and make money off of.

fine ill answer the questions too:
What is your site about?
It's a site made for my friends local metal band. They've been practicing for awhile and hoping to make it big so i'm just helping them..

Does it sell something or offer something valuable to visitors?
Don't sell anything yet. All we offer visitors is to read about the band member bios and see band logos. Hopefully in the future we can offer MP3s of the band playing.

How many unique hits do you get?
Barely any. I tell people on AIM and on forums and to friends everyday to check out the site. I've submitted the site to free search engines. Only get like 15 unique hits on avg. The site has only been up for like a week though.

Did you make your site specifically to put Adsense ads on and make money or did you have your site first and then add Adsense?
Had site first then found out about Adsense.

How long have you had your site?
It's been up for about a week.

How much do you make off Adsense?
I made like $35 that first week.

Do you turn a profit after you subtract the money you put into the site?
I haven't put any money into the site. Just time and effot.
