MSN on AdSense

Somewhat ironic....

I just noticed an ad for the "New MSN Search" showing up on AdSense. It's a good match for the content of the page, but it struck me as funny that MSN would be using Google to advertise...

Anyone else notice this?

Had also MSN ads on my German web site, claiming to have top search results for the German worded main theme of the page

somewhat ironic? definitely. not surprised though. even after their tv ad blitz, it doesn't seem as though their share of search traffic has increased. the google guys must think this is outrageously hilarious.

I'm just wondering how much they're paying G for that advert :D

Well an ad is an ad. While everybody knows Google is the king, MSN shows that they are aware of this fact too and that's not bad. May be being the second guy is just enough for Microsoft. -for some time-
