Should I notify AdSense Support?

Hello all,

I have been notified that my site will be featured in a massive newsletter of about 200,000 readers. This is going to spike my AdSense BIG time. Should I notify Google of this to cover myself, or are there folks out there that have had this happen without any problems?

Can't hurt. Just let them know.

It couldn't hurt, but I don't think it's necessary.

I've had sites featured in much larger publications and didn't notify google and had no problems.

I had one of my sites linked from a national AP story last month (in the "on the net" portion at the end) and saw a major spike as a result. I didn't know it was coming (since the article's author hadn't contacted me ahead of time), but it didn't draw any heat from Google. Then again, my CTR for the site in question wasn't impacted (if anything, it went down some).

It won't hurt to notify them.

But I personally wouldn't do it. It's just waste of your and Google's time.
