AdSense question

Hi everyone, I'm a noob to AdSense, so I apologize if this is a dumb question.

I added AdSense last weekend to a site that is geared towards a particular city. Then a few days ago, I added a new site like the first but geared towards a different city. I made two channels based on the domain to monitor. My problem is, ads for the first city are appearing on the pages of the new site even though that city name isn't on the new site anywhere. Am I not doing something I should be?

how long ago did you add the new site? if it was very recently then you may have what I have, I posted a question titled HOW LONG as a page of mine hasnt started showing targeted ads the same as the rest of the site, it shows funeral, insurance, death type ads as the page has a sentence about the death of a famous person, in the tourist area my site is about.

Are both your sites on the same server IE do they have the same IP address registered to the domain name, that could be why you get similar ads, was the new sites domain linked to the other site at any time in the past, I have 3 sites I used to test for getting penalised for DUPLICATE content, to see how far you could go, NOT far, I have since changed all 3 to their very own unique content, BUT G is still showing ads for the last 3 weeks on one site, for the old content, I am hoping this google PR grey line has something to do with it and it will be OK after this, whatever it is PR update or shuffle.
