I can confirm that Google.com (not just AdSense) is DOWN, verified with two local ISP's and an anonymous proxy.

This datacenter is still working:
64.233.161.104

... in case anyone wants to do any searches.

But that's probably not what folks on this forum are most concerned about :)

It is totally DOWN, baby!

I knew if I went to this board that there would be a topic about it. Good thing--I don't need to start my own.

Quite unnerving.

If this isn't an IP problem then there really is something big going on.

Still down here...

Only good thing is that it's not stopping pages from fully loading like a brief early-morning outage some weeks ago.

Bizarre: if I traceroute to "www.google.com" it comes up with "Unable to resolve target system name www.google.com."

But if I go to "www.google.co.uk" it comes up with "Tracing route to www.google.com [66.102.9.104]" and works fine. Hmmm.

You can get into Adsense from there too.

www.google.co.uk working fine
www.google.com down

It poses an interesting subject for Adsensers... just how much do you rely on the Google search engine for bringing in traffic to your site (for the other affiliate schemes you may run).
