For some reason, I have been unable to get a second Adsense unit to work on my pages. Any time I add the code for another unit, it just remains blank. Does anyone have any idea why?

AdSense doesn't have enough ads for your particular topic, that's all...

it's because you are getting public service ads. if it's a new page this may be because your site hasn't been spidered yet. give it some time it may improve :)

Second ad units will sometimes stay blank for a few hours, or up to a day or two, before showing ads. One of those weird AdSense quirks when you add a second or third ad unit.

I just got my AdSense account yesterday - I'm quite new!
I noticed this too, but I noticed that as soon as I created and specified channels for my ads that they showed up right away.
