i have been hearing this in WW here and there, how exactly does it work?

I suggest that you go to Google and read about it first, then come back here and post some more specific questions if you have any.

Go to the Google home page, click on "Business Solutions" and than on the "AdSense" link to get to the AdSense information area. There is plenty of information there.

i went there already, spent about 15 mins on it and still don't see the affiliate link.

can anyone be an affiliate?

Go to Google and at the bottom of the page is an ADVERTISING PROGRAMS link. Go there.

Have a look at the adsense quick tour, this will explain it all to you

copy and paste this link
[google.com...]

and then apply for your site, its that simple

Once you have been approved you can put the adsense code on as many sites as you require just make sure they conform to the adsense terms and conditions

ok, sorry guys. i got the names confused.

i thought there is an adsense program and
there is an adsense affiliate program.

it turns out that they are the same.

You're probably thinking of the AdSense "Invite a Friend" page found here:

[google.com...]

It's a simple referral mechanism, but there are monetary gains attached to it that I know of. But maybe that will change one day... who knows? Google's always surprising us...
