EFT arrived! aka: check thread...

EFT sitting in the bank and cleared here in the US! No EFT update from Google's Site, but the money is good as gold ;-)

Just checked, as of the last few hours my payment status has changed to 'Payment' from 'Payment in Progress', however I don't see anything in my (German) Postbank account.. starting to sweat..

Have those that have received their EFT payment successfully now see a change in thier Payment History - so that "Payment in progress" no longer appears but a hyperlinked "Payment" page appears instead. If so does this page show the exchange rate with payment in $ and £. Thanks for any insight.

Same here in the Netherlands.

Payment date showed up, but nothing arrived in my bank account yet. I'm not worrying though, my previous experience with EFT (with paypal) showed me that it can take up to 5 days or more.

Just went to my maibox and there was the nondescript large windowed envelope from Buffalo which I knew was my Google $$$.

Since I am close to Buffalo, I surely am one of the first in the US to receive a payment, but wish to report the news that the checks are in the mail.

I would suspect that others will see payments today and many more on Monday and Tuesday.

All good, now on to a new month!

twinsrul - this is usually my rule of thumb but when the bright lights of EFT caught my attention I was hooked and before I knew it I was inputting my sort code. I hope I don't live to regret it!

Overall, I think that EFT should be much faster than conventional cheques. After receiving a cheque, one has to travel to the bank to deposit it. That, plus the days needed to wait for the bank to do the necessary procedures.

I think EFT is the way to go. Let's hope it'll go smoothly.

When they offered a Beta of EFT, I was on it in a second.

A mistake in EFT is no different than a mistake by the postal carrier, either way I'd have to wait another month.

The benefits far outweighed the risks in that decision making progress and being in the US, I was pretty sure there would be less chance of complications. It's not rocket science :)

I got my Beta EFT just fine (and much faster than I would have received a paper check :)

Says it's payable at ANZ, Melbourne. Wonder if it will still take a month to clear, or if it will go through like a normal cheque in 3-5 business days.

Check arrived today in Florida. Regular check, not express/secure. This is the latest in the month I've ever received a check in the more than a year I've been with adsense. Perhaps Google had some small problems getting all the secure/EFT/regulars set up right?

Same check format as last month - big plain white envelope. The nondescript format is growing on me - I prefer the mailing to not yell CHECK!

I received my express cheque (dated 25 April) through DHL yesterday. I am in Kuwait. I think that was fast. My Feb cheque is yet to arrive by the regular mail.

Well here in the UK I had my Feb earnings sitting in my account by 1st March. So I never had any complaint with cheques as they arrived quickly and they were available to withdraw on within 24hrs. Unfortunately I jumped on the EFT bandwagon and as of May 3rd there is still no sign of payment, and my bank tell me there isn't anything pending for tomorrow. I now honestly wish I had stuck with cheques.

My payment arrived by EFT in the UK yesterday, not a bad rate of exchange either (1.9247 USD to GBP).

This has saved waiting for the cheque to arrive, a £10 charge by the bank to handle a USD cheque, and the wait for the cheque to clear so I'm all for EFT.
