Nothing Earned in Image Ads

2500 impression and click 0
so its nothing good for my website

This could be the reason for the new CPM model from Google at image ads.

Some years ago, there had been discussions about banners designed for branding only, lowest CTR possible.

Banners do not generate clickthroughs... its that simple... years ago I was running cyberbounty banners... I dramatically increased my clickthroughs by making my own banners... that looked like links. This is one reason I think the adsense ads do so will... its a recognizable link that people can just click one... another thing that helps with banners.. as stupid as this sounds... a small "click here" button right in the corner of the banner.

I don't doubt it, but that's against the AdSense TOS.

I've had far fewer impressions than you guys, but no clicks here, either. And one of the ads looks like someone hand-drew it in Paint sometime in 1996. Mmmyeah, that'll convert.

Pulling the image ads as soon as I get home.
