Info ads on index but ok throughout site?

I do not get any related adverts on my index page, throughout the site however the ads work/display normally. I wrote to adsense and they confirm nothing is wrong. I have left it a couple of weeks and still no change.

I checked and there are relevant advertisers in the google directory under the specific keywords relating to my domain/index page. It doesn't therefore seem to be a lack of relevant advertisers.

Why then do i have charity ads on my index page and nowhere else?

Revenue is the same as this time last year, but am I therefore, loosing out; as I am loosing a stream from the busiest page?

Any ideas, advice?

Same here, problems with Ads on index pages with table of contents.

Seems to be more difficult to find the right ads for index pages with content tables.

I dont follow the search term is a single keyword such as looking for widgets If the site was about widgets for example and it is listed then it should have widget related ads as listed in the right hand side of the google result page?

Having various tables or contents on the index page shouldn't pose a problem?, if the generic search term that page/site is ranked for appears in the google search results. If google can index it properly why should adsense have trouble?

Have the same problem today for the first time, every other pages of the site are ok, but the index page show a charity ads...

Need to refresh the page 4 times before the normal ads appears... Technical problem?

I've try to put another ads format, but did'nt help.

I have this same problem. When I first visit a page I don't get PSAs...I get ads about bedding & Target. Once I refresh a few times (I assume the mediapartners bot spiders it during those refreshes) relevant ads show up. My site has absolutely nothing to do with bedding or target & the code doesn't have keywords that would produce such ads.

My assumption is that before my site is fully spidered, adsense shows some "default" ads, maybe based on a very quick spider. I saw someone else here gets ads for REM (the music group).

It's bad for me b/c I have a lot of pages, so my visitors are shown irrelevant ads a lot, which hurts my CTR. Why can't google show my PSA replacement page?
