Today, I checked my AdSense account and found the following text on my account.
-----------------------------------------------------
IMPORTANT: Your payments are currently on hold. Action is required to release payment.

Click the Required Action(s) below for information on resolving your hold. Changes made to these settings after the 15th of the month may apply to either the current or next payment cycle.

Required Action
Payment issue - please contact AdSense Support
-----------------------------------------------------
The link leads me to the adsense support pages.

Anyone have the same problem?

Did you sign up for EFT? Perhaps you got the numbers incorrect for your account and/or they need to confirm something.

I have this payment on hold notice as well, but it is because of security concern, Google said already send me a PIN by snail mail to unlock the hold, but until now about 3 weeks times I still haven't received the PIN yet.

How did you know that Google will send you a snail mail with PIN? They inform you this via an email or a phone call?

I didn't get a notice about the PIN. :o(

Payment issue - please contact AdSense Support

Well, did you contact them? They would be the ones to tell you what the issue is, not members of a message board ;)

What's your Adsense Language/Country?
Maybe it was in some country or all over the world

I also have the 'on hold' message. In my case I haven't received my PIN on new account and it has been more than 2 weeks. Since I'm in the USA, if it hasn't come in two weeks in ain't coming. I contacted support and they said for me to request a new pin. I just did so on 'PIN Information' page.

It is odd that they want US publishers to wait up to 3 weeks to request the new pin since I've never had a first class letter take more than 5 days to arrive.

Just found this

[google.com...]

5 Steps to getting paid
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Check your address

Since payments are sent to the mailing address submitted with your application, it's important to confirm the accuracy of your contact information and payee name. If you need to correct any information:

Log into your account at [google.com...]

Select the Account Information tab and click Address Information.
Click Edit Address and update the appropriate fields.
Click Save Changes to update your account, or Cancel to exit without saving.
For security reasons, you cannot change the Payee Name or Country fields once your application has been approved. If you need to make changes to either of these fields, please contact us and request that we close your account. Once your request has been processed, you will then be able to submit a new application with the corrected payee name and mailing address.

2. Provide your tax information

n addition to confirming your contact information, you'll need to submit your tax information so that you may become eligible to receive a payment from Google. We're required to collect tax-related information from all AdSense publishers, including publishers who are based outside of the U.S. , and we're unable to send payment to you until your information has been submitted. So don't skip this step!

If you haven't yet submitted your tax information, click the Tax Information link from the My Account tab. From this page, an easy-to-use wizard interface will help guide you to the appropriate online forms. You're able to submit most forms online, and we'll give you instructions on submitting any other forms that may be required.

3. Select your form of payment

Depending on your payment address, there may be a number of payment options available to you ¨C we suggest you read What forms of payment are available to me? in the AdSense Support center to learn about each option. Once you've decided how you'd like to be paid, click the Payment Information [edit] link from the My Account tab of your AdSense account. Follow the instructions on that page to select your form of payment. Your payments will be held until you have selected a form of payment.

4. Enter your PIN

Once you've earned $50 in combined AdSense for content and AdSense for search earnings, we'll mail a Personal Identification Number to the payment address in your account. You'll need to enter this PIN into your account before we can send any payments to you. Your PIN will be sent by standard post and will take 2-3 weeks to arrive.

5. Generate $100 in earnings

Each month, we send out check and EFT payments to all publishers who have earned $100 or more. If you've earned less than $100, your earnings will roll over to the next month, until your total earnings meet the $100 threshold.

Payment is disbursed within approximately 30 days of the end of the month ¨C to see the timeline of our payment cycle, read the Payment Timelines section below.

Is the PIN necessary for all publishers or just those in certain region?

Is PIN required for new publishers or for old publishers as well?

In my case (I'm in the UK) the PIN took exactly three weeks to arrive. It was sent via Air Mail which usually takes 5-7 days from the US. This means it had been sent about two weeks after I applied for it.

A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is mailed to each AdSense publisher when earnings have reached $50 on their account. This PIN helps us to verify publisher addresses and protect the personal information of our publishers. If a PIN has been mailed to you, we will hold all payments until the PIN has been entered. However, your account will still be accessible, and you'll continute to be able to show ads and accrue earnings.

We will mail your PIN to the payment address in your account. You'll then have 365 days to enter your PIN within your publisher account, or to request a new number. If you do not enter your PIN within this period, your account will be disabled. You may then choose to work with our AdSense specialists to verify your address and reactivate your account.

I think begin this month, eveyone will be ON HOLD if he/she has not already been.

I used to live in Menlo Park,CA

One day I noticed something unusual, a new bank called
Bank of
(you name it, some mixture of Califorbia, Federal, .you name it).

Three or four days later the "bank" was gone. wheels, side dressings and all.

A whole financial institution vanishes into thin air.
Won't be the first time, and definitely not the last.

Umm...I always figured that if a bank had wheels on it, it just wasn't a really good bet to give them any of my money. Now, a hot dog stand with wheels and side dressings, THAT'S fine, but a bank?

I'd afigured most people would know the risk of banks with wheels, but then again...

Got google's email today. Told me that they are reviewing the accuracy of account information. The reviewing will finished before next payment cycle. So no check for this month will be sent.

Is this payment holding applicable to all publishers? Or is it only for publishers who have opted for EFT? Many publishers have not yet received any intimation regarding payment holding from G. Or is the intimation on the way? Maybe ASA can throw some light on this.

All the things are clear.

Google the THIEF, hold your payment, and you can still show adsense on your website, your website still working for google, you still making money for google, but it will not be very long before you were banned from google.

The time google choose to ban you is subtily chosen, very near from the time google should calculate the income they should pay you.

Furthermore, even your account were banned, you website still can show adsense, where your visitor click them, google still can benefit from that, how clever they are, the Genius Google~

Shame, totally a shame for a company I was ever admired.

Google ALWAYS pays me, I wouldn't worry about it. I used to be scared at the beginning but now I trust them. Unfortunately the adsense earnings are not what they used to be...but that'a another story!
