They must have some BAD filters triggering emails ...

Just got two automated emails from adsense-support, telling me my account number is incorrect and they will send me a domstic currency check.

This would be the worst of all worlds. I do not handle euro checks. NOBODY uses checks and they are a major pain to process. Not only that, the bank CHARGES BIG BUCKS for depositing checks.

The only checks we are set up to handle are US$ ones. It seems US Americans like to send their money through the mail ;)

My guess is the emails were triggered by a silly one fits all filter for length of account number. Every bank here (Austria) has different length numbers.

If that is the case, dear google, please provide us with the 'correct' amount of digits so we can add the appropriate amount of zeroes in front :)

Slightly flabbergasted

Nope. If many people were having the same problem then you would have seen similar topics being flamed here.

Are you sure you typed your account details correct?

(almost got flabber-gasted here too in the UK :D)

At what bank in Austria are You?

I am at Bank Austria Creditanstalt.

Changed one week ago, until now no emails from Google about this.

I gave them my BAWAG account, but figured if they can't handle that, then I will probably try CA as well ..

then again maybe I did make a mistake after all?!

so far the account settings have not returned to the check setting - after I reenterd the info (I am pretty positive I entered the right number since I copy pasted it from my online banking window both times!)
