On weekends, people are less business oriented, but consumer items (retail) may reign. If, as we suspect, business listings have higher CPC, that MAY be the cause.
However in only 2 weekends as a sample, I am not seeing much diffence in CPC or CTR for our business information site on the weekends. Certainly less traffic, but that's been the case for our site for many years.
In my case, both CTR and CPM are significantly higher this weekend than during the first week, at roughly half the traffic. Unfortunately, my total impressions are rather modest, so that this could just as well be a statistical anomaly. It will be interesting to see how things develop over the coming weeks.
