Does anyone know how I can convince Adsense that my site is written in Japanese? I keep getting mis-targeted ads in English.
The site in question is a .com hosted in the states but is not reliant on search engine traffic. How can I fix this?

Are you viewing the website from an English-Speaking Country (USA, UK, etc). I think AdSense generates Ads to be displayed depending on which country your in.

Yeah that was kind of what I thought so I had a friend in Japan look and the same thing. Adsense just refuses to believe the site is in Japanese.

In the last couple of days I've been seeing an ad in German on the home page of my English-language site. Maybe Google is fiddling with the ad-targeting algorithm again.

My ads went quite off-targeted today, and earnings dropped 80% compared to yesterday - which practically means no earning :)
