Has anyone else noticed that ever since Adsense went down for Maintenance that CTR has gone down drastically?

Mine has been half of what it was since it came back online. Anyone else notice this or is it just me?

You can't judge ctr or anything else on adsense until at least numbers are showing up for the next day. You still have about an hour and a half before that will happen. Keep cool...

agreed garyr_h - but i wasn't talking just about today (well from an hour or so ago) but the day before which finished 23 hours before I wrote the post.

probably just me although I just talked to two others who have noticed similar decreases in CTR. ie same traffic levels, but less click throughs. Strange.

We saw a minor decrease in CTR but our CPM which was down 40% for most of the month (remember "bad two days" thread) suddenly shot back up to January levels. I definitely think G has finally decided their prior experiment was a big mistake.

ok, this takes thread takes adsense paranoia to new heights....

Looked like a FULL MOON last night, ever notice CTR is lower on a full moon?

It's the WEEKEND, don't know about the rest of you but by AdSense is always different on the weekend.

I disagree with the paranoia theory...I noticed dramatically different results during maintenance time not consistent with any other period in the history of humanity (aka since i began using adsense)
I wouldnt worry too much..maybe we will be comped for some clicks at a later date..maybe not!

But the thread wasn't about DURING maintenance, it was about AFTER maintenance, and the day after maintenance was a Saturday, which on many topics is usually a lower CTR day. My CTR may be a bit down but my CPM is way up, then again my CPM always tends to go up at the end of month as people scramble to make their end of month numbers look better.

My Sunday CPM shot backup to Jan levels. Its 30% up compared to other Sundays in February. Hope next week continues like this.

Do you know the reason why your CTR and earnings are lower since maintenance?

Google has transferred yours to mine. Thanks.

If it helps you will be getting an email that explains that there was a reporting delay for the Month of February and that the clicks etc. are now correct.

This delay resulted in a portion of clicks and earnings from the last few weeks being slow to appear in your account

Just let some of you who're not the AdWords users, be informed that there is a such note in the AdWords account which states:

Due to a recent system delay, your account reported fewer clicks than you actually received. We have resolved this delay and adjusted the number of billable clicks from all affected days in February.

That may be the same reason why we had two adjustments for February AdSense stats a week ago. Will there be another one for the last week of Feb.? It will be nice, won't be it?
