Is it just me or does anyone see a major increase in weekend payout? The past few week days were extremely low money makers, and I felt like hating on adsense..but then I wake up this morning to see that today and yesterday has earned me so much..anyone else getting alot on weekends?

My traffic is a bell curve, peaking mid-week, and declining to rather low levels on weekends. So put me in the category of curmudgeons who want to know "why aren't you slackers working seven days"?

It depends on your site.

My site caters to people who are trying to make what amounts to a large and important purchase. They are searching for information, and my content provides advice to guide them. I run AdSense, which tend to be links to the large vendors these people would eventually turn to. I find Saturday is my best day usually--I guess that's when people feel they have the time to sit down and do a some research.

If your site were on something more entertaining or distracting or related to things people don't feel they need to do serious research on you might find your traffic patterns are always the same every day, or maybe even weekends would be worse for you.

Sat has almost always been my worse day. Weekends were never good on average. Sunday was similar to Sat for ages but lately Sunday has been much better for some unknown reason.

Mon thru Thurs by far my best days historically, with Fri & Sat most all the time not so good.

This weekend my CTR and EPC completely recovered from the sudden drop around feb 2 and an even more dramatic drop on feb 18.

I think the usual disclaimer applies: aberrations may take up to two weeks to normalize.

We really should only be discussing long term trends (months), instead of daily fluctuations.

In my case the weekends (especially sundays) show a reduction of abt 50% in impressions, but have a much better CTR so the income somehow leverages.

Different sites, different visitors, different behaviours!

This come from my VERY VERY VERY short experience with adsense, so caveat reader!

and what makes you think just because this ONE day you have recieved CTR and EPC of previous levels makes it a recovery?

WOW! Yesterday was a record setting day...and I earned an extremely high amount..(I've only been with adsense 22 days) I figured the weekend would be my high points, but I checked my earnings this morning and I'm already earning very big with very little clicks..Februrary must be my month..

Anyone else that can't refrain from checking their adsense every freaking hour?

Weekends tend to be less productive for me, though that's because of fewer visitors to my sites. I haven't noticed any notable change in CTR for weekends, though.
