Any Penalty For Checking Stats Too Often?

Probably just coincidence but a few times that I'm having a particularly good day on adsense and therefore I decide to check my stats more frequently...as soon as I start checking more frequently it seems the increased income disappears. Anyone else notice this? I'm wondering if Google flags this as possible fraud or something and either servers other ads or holds back reporting or?

Hey, this is the moment to ask this!

Due a lesion on my right arm, exactly due excesive mousing, I had to shift to use left hand instead.
I have now one year with using left hand and feel almost like the right hand ...

BUT, the thing is, I could not stand the mouse pointer as it is!, Something is wrong in my head, may be, but I didn't feel comforable to see the pointer pointing to the upper left corner, I felt like I was screwing my mind. It was like if switching the hand, I wanted to switch everything.

So, I took a copy of all the cursor icons and made a "flipped" copy of each, I created my own sets of cursor icons, so, my mouse pointer points to the other side as the usual pointer! :) even the "hover" "hand" style, I changed that to be a "left hand" pointer! lol

am I a freak? :)

back to the topic, not only do I check my adsense too much, I send the current amount via IM to my wife a couple of times a day which doesn't bother her as much now unlike the early days when I was like a kid in a candy store giving her hourly updates (or better) ....

Heck, I just checked again, I made more money while reading this thread!

I think I'm in the "get back to work" category. I just joined a little over a week ago, and I can't stop checking. I'm like that with anything numbers.. Trackers, Counters, AdSense.. I even spent a large amount of time making #1 and staying #1 in a top sites list nobody has heard about. I'm hoping this won't turn into that..
