20% EPC drop today

Is that affected by the new adword policy?

My EPC was quite stable during the holiday season until today. It dropped 20%. Is that affected the the new adword policy which went into effect today? Or just a coincidence?

No because there is no new policy. It is still rumor. Not a new policy. There is no official word from G. All we have are 2 people Shak and eWhisper who say they have heard something from somebody and they think that it will happen.

As a matter of fact, the rumor is that Google was going to announce the new policy today and it won't go into effect until the 12th so if the rumor is true then there's still no way it could have affected you yet.

Your EPC is likely suffering from advertisers reducing their bids or pulling out because of the post holiday conversion rate decreases in many industries.

Hi, not sure if its ok to post this but here is what i just got...

Edit...

I got it an hour back, in Aus from uk google.

Ok this was my first post so i ditched it.

Affiliates and parent companies have to share the same space and aff dont need aff there.

I make 5-10$/day so i hope it dont affect me, half my ads say affiliate but its targeted.

Anunnaki,
No, you can't post this email if it's real. If it's real, when did you get it?

Thanx anyway.

Updated above for you...

It may help if we get the highest possible from each url/add served, or there could be less ads...

Anunnaki,
If the stats are for your AdSense earnings, you're better not to disclose since it may be against the AdSense TOS.

I just got the same Email from US Google AdWords team.
