My AdSense account disabled, my website was banned by google afterward

Somebody clicked on the ads for hundreds of time repeatly, so my account was disabled. Three days later, I found my site was totally banned by google for all my keywords.

My world is fallen! Who can help me out?

I found i got about 200 clicks more than usual but the earning stay the same as usual. The next day i got email from google told me that my account was disabled for invalid clicks.That's is.

Why do all these threads have the same ring to them? If theres one place a trend can be spotted, it's this place. Lets see: first time poster, adsense account banned, broken English, angry tone. That's about 3 or 4 coincidences this week.

Lots of sites had major ups and downs in Google this week's update. Changes in your rankings likely have nothing to do with your Adsense account.

Nope, I suspect they are doing a year-end clean-up. They did the same thing last year.

I have a sneaking suspicion that most of the Adsense click fraud is being generated by webmasters overseas. When I had an ecommerce site, most all CC fraud was from overseas and I don't think that's any secret to other business owners. I'm not trying to stir up anything nor do I automatically think overseas webmasters are shady. But, it is hard not to notice these trends. Copyright enfringement is standard practice in the new China commerce and many of these countries have been without for so long that Adsense is a great opportunity for many of these people to make a quick buck. Now they're on here whining about why their spam site was banned after making $6k in the first month (wonder how?), scaring those of us who have had developed sites for years and natural growing Adsense accounts.

All these Adsense account bans appear to happen to the same type poster and frankly, I'm not surprised. Now that I see a trend, I'm not worried about my sites.

If so, that is an astute observation. Note, that some developed countries - like France, Italy and Norway - don't consider English their main language. Just as some third world countries - like India - have English speakers who may not sound like they come from non-English speaking countries (like me).

Yes, I did mean non-English speaking countries :) or even more specifically, underdeveloped non-English speaking countries. I wanted to be as PC as possible about this and not confuse apparent trends with borders, but if it walks like a duck...

$10 in many of those countries is a 2-3 days worth of work so they do it. In US, to make $500 you need to do a lot of clicking and it's not as easy to get away with it. It's that simple. Morals are the same.

As far as other fraud, in addition to the economics the law enforcement is not like here. If people didn't fear being punished by the cops, FBI etc., Muricans would do the same exact thing.

One thing to consider is Google has already expressed concern over fraud on Adwords and Adsense. I believe they went so far to say that the fraud represents the "greatest risk" to their business. I don't blame them for having a strict policy that sometimes results in innocent parties having their accounts cancelled.

I question that the activity of one day would cause a ban, unless you did something like create a page about INSERT BIG $$$ KEYWORD HERE, and then got 200 clicks on the same day you created the page. I strongly believe there has to be a pattern of problems before someone gets banned.

I am also not aware of too many Senior Members or Moderators of WebmasterWorld ever reporting a ban.

Please don't think I'm judging on morals or even implying it. I'm merely reporting a trend I've noticed these past few weeks/months. I certainly don't hang any judgment on it. It just is.

That's a great letter: It's calm, professional, and well thought out, and with luck it will persuade Google to reconsider your case.

Yes, well done ... send them a new letter each month until they respond. You might offer to not place ads on the site that they feel was the problem and only use on other sites.

I think G should really do something about this click-sabotage. They should implement a simple system where ads stop being served temporarily on a site where there is sabotage-like activity. Technically, this should actually be easy to implement.
