Adsense numbers not updating today

Or is it the Google update?

Is it the Google update (oh man, I am screwed) or AS not updating? I am stuck for hours with the same numbers, no access to my logs, have my sites taken the day off?

Anyone else?

They are a minute bit slow today. But, I suppose, unless you are a big earner you won't notice any difference ;)

Stats updating [webmasterworld.com] speeds do vary widely and occasionally you'll get a really slow day.

In my case it's because of this new Google update: traffic low -> Adsense earnings low.

My impressions are high, CTR is lowest its ever been. Impressions are not high because of the Google update, but because of the Yahoo update. CTR is suffering because the ads for my local wedding site are being targeted poorly. Instead of local ads or more nationally themed ads showing I am seeing local ads for other locales.

I'm hoping that the slowdown is caused by Google cutting checks today.;) Guess we'll find out later.

I'm also seeing some 'off' targetting too, but not as far astray as Powdork's. Those are miles and miles off.

I'd bet money on it being to do with the update. Seems a lot of people are having decreased traffic and therefore earnings...

If there was an update, that's news to me. My site has been steady for the past month in all SE's and if anything has moved up a place or two. I don't think the drop in traffic is due to an update as much for me as it is probably caused by the holidays. I looked up some terms on Wordtracker to see what kind of volume there has been for them recently and I see at least a 25% drop across the board on search volume. My guess is that people are just in a shopping mood and I don't deal in tangible, wrapable products.

Those are miles and miles off.
Actually, they've gotten better in the last hour. The only poorly targetted one is off by a mere 150 miles and it's interesting enough to me that I want to click on it. Naturally it is accompanied by an increase in clicks too.
My traffic and impressions are actually up a bit because the Y update has pushed my sandboxed site up a little. On Google I have dropped 300 spots but am happy to report the traffic at #800 compares favorably to the traffic at #500.;)
