I got two - with one account

Has anyone else gotten the two exact same emails from Adsense, with only one account, one from adsense-uk and the other from adsense-support.

Even if you haven't gotten two, what could be the significance?

I got 2.

Possibly Adsense gearing up for a dedicated UK (or otherwise local) service?

Me too. However, I handle two accounts, one's mine and another a client's, so I got four of these.

We are located in Sweden.

I was wondering whether it might have to do with the ads being served ... I get european ads and us ones.

Maybe the uk office is the one sending the mail out to european adsense publishers ..?

Maybe you are getting emails for other publishers too, since I haven't received one new feature email, much less two ;)

It looks like what happened was that both US and UK English versions of the announcement emails were accidentally sent to some publishers. On behalf of the AdSense team, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

No inconvenience ASA, and isn't it fun how fast we are to jump on any little inconsistency with AdSense.

I typically receive an email from Google announcing new Adsense features / updates

I didnt get one this time - did everyone get it
or more importantly did anyone not get one?

I didn't get one either, so maybe they tried twice to mail all the accounts, failed part way through and gave up rather than send three notices to those at the start of the list...

The last update I got was the 16 Nov one, from adsense-uk.

There wasn't much in the emails that isn't already on WW.

They were mainly:

> URL Channels launch [webmasterworld.com]
> Enhanced Image Ads testing [webmasterworld.com]

I usually find out about the changes from here anyway. But if at least two people here didn't get the update, then probably many of the Adsense publishers who don't read this site didn't get it either (so they're unaware of the image ad formats, for example).

Something presumably went wrong with the mailing this time, or maybe just slow (in case anybody mantions it, I don't have an ISP to filter things - I am my ISP - and have no spam filtering on the email account known to Adsense).

Give it until the end of the day. I checked with Google and they were just starting to send it out to those who didn't receive them. I got mine then posted, so it is likely still cycling through the list of emails.

Hmmm. I'm in the US and still haven't received an email. A quick search through my deleted folder turns up a few dozen viruses, each with a Google reply address, but no legit email...
