Does anyone know if you can put adsense on a free web host. Its not a geocities/lycos etc type but domainname.xyzhost.com type

I've had a look at the TOS but they aren't clear. In all other respects the site would meet the criteria (as far as I can tell)

Yes, as long as the free host doesn't have anything against it in THEIR TOS.

All my pages with adsense are on a free host.So obvious this is not a problem!

really? I thought that adsense policy doesn't allow users to run ads on free web hosting. You have to be the top domain of your website.

I will email them to make sure about this because if I could run ads on a free webhosting sites, I should have run it on more than 20 sites already.

For those who running ads on free web hosting, have you ever received any checks from Google yet?

No this was changed when google updated the adsense policies this year and included that you now can have adsense on free hosting sites
