Anyone know if there is an AGE minimum for being a part of Adsense?

I mean I have a friend who is interested in signing up and and he is 17.

The Adsense policy page says nothing about age requirement.

In the USA, someone who is not at least age 18 can’t enter in to a valid contract. Therefore, most services require that you be at least 18 because if you’re not they can’t hold you to the terms of the agreement.

Ask Google directly.

The first clause of the AdSense Terms of Service requires that you be 18 or older to enroll.

Members who have had this problem have signed up under their parents names - I don't know if this would work in your friends case, however. Publishers do need to be 18 years to apply.

I'm 16 years and I own a 'company'. Don't believe it will give trouble.

I started making money off my site at age 15. I just put everything in my parents name to be safe until I turned 18 and then I just transfered everything over.

Im developing a site, should have enough real content by the end of this month to apply, So will i need to put it in my parents name? (17)

Im from the UK, and working for a company and i optimize their sites, I have a NI number and bank account etc... I still have to be 18 :(?

In Holland u can ask for permission to deal and undersign if you're minimum 16 years but younger than 18. It's called 'Handlichting'.

In that situation, there shouldn't be a problem.

I've often thought it would be pretty easy for a young person to do what I do and make some pretty brilliant pocket money. In fact after a couple of years work at an hour or two a day I reckon they could set themselves up for life using adsense.

I'm 15...entered my name and my information...not parents...got accepted. Wonder if they will ever find out when I enter my Social Seqrity number...

They probably won't find out but I don't think its worth it to take the risk especially if you start making a lot of money. That was the reason I just put it in my parents name.
