The last update i had is 50% from July 7th. Since then no any update for 8 and no any update for 9 July. This situation does not make me happy. I know it is not only me but i start thinking google will update their stats when they update their channels - in 48 hr. any news about the delay with the adsense update?

perhaps that's what they're doing. I know one thing: never seeing your stats in anything "remotely" close to real time (I'd settle for 12 hours behind if it was at least consistent) is a little depressing. And it has the effect of me checking my stats less...but maybe that's part of the master plan?

I don't see a point in looking at stats more than once a day, personally.

What do you want, an instant message every time someone clicks on an ad?

But it's a pleasant thing to do when you're having a coffee break. A bit of encouragement, especially if you're working on you're own.

I agree with the point that it doesn't matter if it's an hour or 24 hours behind, as long as it updates consistently, so you get at least some kind of idea of whether the work you've done in the last forty-eight hours or so is making a small or a significant difference.

I too thnk that consistency is what really matters. 2 hours, 24 hours, whatever, just be consistent.

The problem comes when optimizing ad settings, positions, color, placement etc - delayed and unreliable updating makes this very difficult.

Oh, now that's a great idea!

Dear Google: I expect to see this feature in place by tomorrow morning at the latest or I shall be quite vexed. Make it so, will you? Love, JollyK

Hahaha!

But seriously, flyer727: take pity on those of us who are stats update addicts. :-)

I agree that consistency would be preferred over the current state of affairs. It is a bit sad when Amazon associates reports are more up-to-date than AdSense reports. Of course, I'm not sure if I could handle once-per-day Adsense stats updating -- the withdrawal symptoms could kill me. heheh

I hope so. Then you only have to check AdSense revenue in the am every 2 days.

I know checking my adsense stats constantly eats up part of my time but i would prefer to see adsense stats at least every 24 hr , not every 2 days.
