Ok, we are slowly but steadily approaching out first "over 10K check" for a month. I was sure I've seen some posts here that such checks receive some kind of special treatment, like additional verification or something like that. Could anyone shed light at this as I couldn't find any info by searching the boards?

Another question... with that many "closed accounts" stories we are getting somewhat concerned (even though the site is 100% legit) about account termination. Do you know of any stories that check was sent and then the account was terminated and the check was not cleared by bank?

NazaretH,

Congratulation!

You mentioned that you're having "CC billing problem with AdWords" in the previous post. Your Adwords account is temporarily shutting down due to an outstanding balance. So you affair you might not get this Adsense check?

I actually see no reasons for not receiving the check, was just wondering what could be the difference with bigger checks.

Ad for Adwords.. well that's the pain - I am writing and writing to them, trying all my cards - no luck. Now I am looking for their phone number, but honestly speaking I am very dissapointed with the fact that nobody asnwers my letters. I am sure they wouldn't mix my adsense check with my adwords balance, although I WISH I could pay for adwords from adsense... Anyway the check is 10 times bigger than what I spend with adwords. Sometimes I think that it would be easier to put a few grands to envelope and send right to GooglePlex :(

Yes, the previous post on the issue was actually for a lost check not a current check. So no special treatment for the 10K+ group... yet. Sending AdSense checks via FedEx is something I feel should be done for those over a certain dollar amount (5K+ or 10K+) but it has only happened in special circumstances thus far.

Well, seems like an option that Google should definetly consider. Why not approach DHL/FedEx and make a deal for Google? - that shouldn't be too difficult to implement and publishers would have an option. At least maybe at publisher's expence...? Well, wire transfer option would be even better, but, ok, it's been mentioned many times...

Sometimes I believe that Google is a very advanced comapany, outstanding, doing the right things on pretty fast times....

Then these kind of things like AdSense payment that many other companies do in a much better way with much better service and much better support make me have mixed feeling about google, mixed like a..

Best contextual Ad technology (very complex), with a regular report system (to say the best possible) and a pathetic payment system...

PD. At least they pay, that's important.
