Selling a Domain w/ Adsense

Can I transfer the Adsense?

I own a domain name for which I run Google Adsense on and the login is an e-mail address with that domain. I'm thinking of trying to sell the domain as I don't do much with it and I could probably make more in the sale of it than with running the Adsense. (Please note, this is NOT the domain in my profile.)

Question is, should I cancel my Adsense account before trying to sell it? It seems this would lessen the value of it. If I chose to include the Adsense with the domain, I guess a potential buyer could just activate the appropriate user name with the domain name so they would have the e-mail connected to it, but what about the fact my social security number and address is associated with it? Can I delete this info for the new owner to fill in at their leisure?

From the adsense TOS

Account Transferability
AdSense accounts are not transferable, assignable or resalable in connection with the sale of your site or otherwise. For example, when a site changes ownership or management, the prior owner or manager must cancel the AdSense account for the site, and the new owner or manager may sign up for a new AdSense account in his or her name.

I have sold two websites with adsense on them. One was my main adsense aco****. Google told me to have the new owner apply for a new account under the domain. Then, Google sent me a special authorization form to transfer the domain. At this same time they allowed me to specify a new domain on my account.

It was a very easy process and I was very impressed. Google also allowed me to disclose my income/stats to the new potential owners provided they signed a NDA.

Hope this helps. When in doubt, contact Google directly.
