AdSense down right now? (7/27 11PM EST)

Is anyone else not getting AdSense ads on their pages right now? I noticed the impressions hadn't gone up in at least a half hour. The browser just sits there trying to load them.

Just got home from work, logged in and saw a row of 0s. Mild panic attack ensued as my thoughts ran to "my account has been suspended", then next stop here and put at some ease that I'm clearly not alone.

> Anyone from Google reading this...

nobody from Google is reading this.
let alone GoogleGuy...

so much for "real time stats" in google adsense.... doh!

<snip> is seeing ad sense stats so indeed some people have been suspended.... and some not...

<snip> - some time ago I clicked once on the banner of adsense (because it was interesting myself, not to boost my revenue) and now maybe they have spotted it and I am suspended?

I don't think it is suspention. It looks like they may have a problem with reporting or maybe doing some maintenance. With ad networks and affiliate programs this type of reporting halt is quite common.

I await their response to my enquiry.

Ha, when I checked my stats this morning and saw zeros I thought I had been suspended too. But, without being hasty I checked my email and no emails from them. Then came here...and strangly I feel better. Why? Because I trust Google is doing the right thing. Call my crazy, but Google didn't become top dog by employing a bunch of dumb arses who don't work nights. And somebody's gotta say this, everyone just chill out! :) Polishguy...grab a stiff drink and read the newspaper ;) Anywho, I'll check in again in a couple hours, I've got too much work to do on my site to be checking out the Adsense stats page every two seconds.....

Dave.

Is Europeforvisitors the only person on the planet who can see the stats?

My numbers seem to be at normal level. No problem here!

shucks .. This is getting interesting by the minute.

It would be good if everyone who is reading this would post whether they are able to see updated stats or not ( for today ).

Valortrade, where is 'here' in your case?

Valortrade, where is 'here' in your case?

West coast of US.

I think the issue could be related to the specific Google's Adsense stats server, not the geolocation. I assume there would have more people there just like EFV and me.

Maybe you could try to contact Adsense Support directly to trace this problem

The only other person getting stats is EuropeforVisitors

Unless he is on the move, WhoIs gives EuropeforVisitors as being Minneapolis, MN

No stats here either. So much for thinking I was going to get up this morning and it be all resolved :(

I am showing targeted ads on all my pages, though.

Still no stats but targeted ads still look ok here (UK).

It's also interesting with regard to contacting support. I sent a suggestion in a couple of weeks ago using their response form regarding methods of payment to publishers and received back an acknowledgement within an hour or so. I sent them a note regarding the stats problem at about midday today using the same method and still haven't heard anything. So that's about five hours now.

Has anyone heard from Google at all?

Regards

F

I just checked my account again. The numbers keep increasing. It looks normal.

Except my previous assumption, no idea what happens with Adsense reporting to your guys.

Check Adsense Support!

My guess is that AdSense stats reporting has some growing pains and need more hardware and or code optimization. As pointed out this happens to reporting for almost all major advertising/affiliate networks when they grow quickly (talking from own experience from the inside).

The best short term way to handle this is communication that says that the tech team is working hard to fix the problem and have them do that.

My feeling about this is that Google's communication with AdSense publishers isn't very good as keeping quiet is a bad strategy when the problem takes more than a business day to resolve. A short notice in the vein of "Due to the popularity of AdSense, we're currently upgrading the stats servers/technology to better serve participating publishers. While the upgrade is taking place, live reporting isn't active. We apologize for the inconvinience (sp?) and estimate to be finished tomorrow." would be enough.

regards,

henrikt

Because this does not happen with everyone, that is why Google did not send out the public notice, I think.

Are you a premium partner? I get no stats for any of my sites and I believe it holds true for other affiliates as well here :(

I hope that I could become the premium partner someday. But not at this point!

Anyone else see this?

Since valortrade and europeforvisitors are both in the US and are seeing their AdSense stats for today, is there anyone else in the US who is NOT seeing their stats for today? I am wondering if it is a geolocation problem.

<added>why2kit just confirmed no stats from the US while typing my post</added>

Still no stats here. Anyone hear from Google yet? I just e-mailed them.

EDIT: I'm in the southeast US.

I still think it would not be a geolocation issue.

I checked my account again and the numbers keep changing.

No more update from me.

Should not worry too much. Let the numbers run themselves. Trust Google to track all numbers!

No stats for today. Sunday statistics have just begun increasing here in the UK (stopped at about 3am this morning), which probably means things will get back to normal soon.
