Anyone know why this bot would be hitting my site when we don't serve up any ads - Adsense or otherwise? I've done a site search, but all I've come up with is that this bot hits sites that are somehow advertising for Google, which we certainly are not. :o

I've seen it hitting pages of sites that are not running AdSense at all as well as pages that don't contain Ads on sites where I do run it.

Maybe it is a referer url leaking thing or something, it is certainly very odd.

Just a wild guess.

Dedicated server or virtual server?

Who else host on your machine?

It might have something to do with a range of ips.

Just throwing crazy ideas from a non-techie.
