Cashing Google Cheques - Time Limit?

My apologies if this has been asked before, is there a limit to the amount of time you can hold onto a Google cheque without cashing it?

I'm situated in the UK, and I'd like to be able to take several cheques in to be cashed at once to minimise bank conversion charges, but i'm not sure if I should hold on to them too long without cashing them.

Anyone here have any experience with doing this? Will a Google cheque become invalid if not cashed before a certain period of time after it was issued?
