Wednesday, January 21, 2004 Payment sentThat means the check will be mailed on the 24th
Doesn't "necessarily" mean that at all. Experience varies for each of us. All the description says is “Payment sent.” Sent to who? Sent to the disbursing agent is who. The disbursing agent then must process, print and mail the checks. According to Google’s guidelines, the disbursing agent has until the end of the month to mail the check. From past posts on this forum it appears that the checks are sent out over the period of a week or two. Some people in Europe get them pretty quickly and some of us in the USA seem to be at the end of the line.
Here is how our November payment went as an example (which has been typical):
Google posts in our payment history: December 17, 2003 Payment Sent
Check was dated December 19, 2003 which implies that this is the date it was printed.
Check was postmarked December 31, 2003 which indicates the date payment sent “to me.”
Check arrived in my post office box on January 12, 2003.
