130 is a good start. i'm in malaysia and i get roughly double what you're getting, but there is so much more room to improve since my site is only a year old, PR2 and isn't even appearing in google serps for my main keywords.

and yes... humblebeginnings is right... it depends on soooooooooooo many things but the biggest would be traffic.

Traffic is most important. But of course it also depends on how you optimize your site(s). Right now my traffic is low so my earnings drop also.

Five important elements for success:

1. Read the Terms And Conditions:

2. Read the programme policies:

3. Work hard at unique and relevant content.

4. Do not expect immediate success and keep referring to #3!

5. The earnings curve is not smooth, expect wild fluctuations and especially so when first starting. If this happens, refer to #3 again.

Word of Warning:

If you try to cheat you will be found out therefore do not even consider it an option and keep referring to #3.

Of course I could have written #3 first however a full understanding of the T&C's and Policies is extremely important for everyone PRIOR to starting with AdSense.

Its definitely difficult to stay on a steady pattern with Adsense. I find that my numbers are constantly changing -- one day I'll have $13 a day and the next I'll end up with 0.00 in my account. I guess it just depends on a lot of things.

Either way, hardwork and traffic is the key to great success!

Making a couple hundred dollars a month in China must be like making a couple thousand here in the states, so comparatively speaking, you are doing great!
