Adsense bringing back irrelevant ads all of a sudden

irrelevant ads

The ads on my site have typically been relevant to the content of my pages, but all of a sudden (2 days ago), I noticed that there were no ads appearing on my 160x600 skyscraper ad.

Finally, yesterday, I reconfigured the content layout a bit and noticed that ads were once again showing up on the skyscraper, but now, they have absolutely nothing to do with my website.

I thought that this could be due to the advertisers being at the end of their ad cycle, but when I visited another website with content similar to mine, I see the ads that I used to get on their site!

Does anyone know what's going on? How do I get my relevant ads back?

Thanks in advance,
Rob

No I am not a premium publisher. May I ask what you feel that would have to do with this?

Yahoo Publisher Network recently approved me to join. I'm considering switching and testing. Typically ads in my genre (financial publishing) garner significant CPMs. Recent experiences have shown me that something is wrong.

Could someone here please share with me how you share the URL of your website with others here for review/comment, without violating the terms of the site?

Thanks for any ideas/help

I can confirm

Every day from 1 to 5 is above monthly eCPM average
Every day from 6 to 10 is below monthly eCPM average

Just to add my voice to webmasters with off-topic pages: One of my sites is news categories and news stories. The home page of this site has been off topic for more than two weeks. I've had to remove Adsense from it. Yesterday I lost one of the category subpages, off topic now and removed (I hope only temporarily) from Adsense.

I've emailed Adsense on this twice now, and gotten replies that nothing is wrong/nothing can be done.

Adsense, are you listening? These are not isolated incidents. My niche is FULL of ads, but you're not showing them to some of my pages. You need to be looking into this!
