$ 0.10 for FirexFox Referrals

I guess 'up to $ 1,-' could mean anything under $ 1,-

After Adsense started offering text links for referrals, I tried all of them. I now have about 20 FF conversions and all of them pay me $ 0.10.
Although Googles promise of "up to $ 1,-" for a FF referral could theoretically mean anything under $ 1,-, I stil think that 10 cents is a lousy deal!

I have got $1 for some of clicks and .1 for rest.
I think the country of visitor desides this cash.

"sheesh you actually think that pays off?"

No, that's what this thread is about.

However, others have stated to make fair money out of the FF referrals and to receive the full buck.
That's 10 times more than what G pays me up to now for the same referrals. I am kind of annoyed a little bit that G's definition of "up to $ 1,-" in reality means 10 cents in my case.

Most of mine are 0.10 some are 0.50 and only a few reach 1.00.
It is too bad that they all do not pay 1.00 each.

My #1 most hated phrase in the English language: "up to".

We've had this thread before..

I make roughly 50% of my earnings from FF referrals..

I'd say about 95% are full $1.00 .. a few are .50, and even less (maybe 5 in the last month?) are .10 ..

What country are you guys in, or where does most of your traffic come from? I think G pays more for U.S. conversions..

"We've had this thread before.."

But that didn't improve my earnings;-)

I believe 75% of my traffic is from the USA.
So i'd expexted some more whole-buck-referrals...

Tearabite,

Let's give this some more thought...
I see in your profile that your interests are tech related. Assuming your sites are also tech related, how about Google paying different amounts of money, depending on the subject of ones website?
What else could determine the payout?
Overall ctr, ecpm and conversions in ones account?
Up to now, all I knew is that payout was different per country where the referral came from...

Wow! That's incredible - kudos to you :-)

If you don't mind sharing, what FF AdSense ad do you recommend?

Thanks

What he didn't say is that he makes $2/day. Just kidding... great work.

I myself haven't had a single FF referral yet even after I implemented it 3 days ago and have had 10 clicks. Not one single referral! With my History site, however, is a different story so I believe it depends greatly on the niche and what people want. Also whether they have the time to change their browser or not.

I make $1 all the time with that site because it's an American-History related site so everyone speaks English and is American (at least in theory). If that isn't proof enough of the FF to country relation, tell me what is!

Well.. i make more than $2/day, but not much more! My site is only 3 months old, and so far this month (29 days) i've averaged (exactly) $4.66/day.

My site is tech related, and in my particular niche, most users dont already have firefox. My site also talks very highly of the advantages of FF, and i really 'push' it, so this explains my high CTR and conversion for FF .

Is Adsense referral system a 1-time-deal? For instance, if my referral makes/spends $100 in one month, do I get paid every time s/he spends that much or just once?

Billdex, this thread is about the Firefox referral.
