adsense stop words

So let's say I have a site about a certain sport and a certain team in the sport is named after a natural disaster.

Now in describing this team every ad has turned PSA or dissepeared. Once realizing it must be because of this team name being a disaster I remembered certain words will stop adsense from displaying on a site.

After removing every instance of the word and replacing it with a shortened one the ads have still remained. Actually depending what time of day you check it returns to normal only to go back to PSAs and has been doing this for 3 days causing some lost revenue I'm sure. Not to mention it looks hideous and is totally irrelevant to the site content.

Is there anything I can possibly due? Other than waiting for the bot to revist which it no doubt has already several times. What's causing the back and forth displays? There should be a way to disable certain words.

Go to that page again and add this "?asfasdf" (anything with a question mark...no quotes) to the end and see if the page displays correctly. It'll think it's a new page and mediabot will give it a fresh shot. If it works correctly, then email Google and tell them you used a stopword that you've now corrected and could they please send the mediabot back soon?

This worked for one of my sites and everything was squared away the next day. May not be so easy in your case though, since you've said mediabot has visited since.

Would this team be playing the Mtl Canadiens right now?
