WHAT stops me from creating my own site and then extract the data from this gigant database and put it on my own, with adsense on?
seriously, i dont care what you say about duplicated content, because its not true, this would bring in [lots] of traffic eventually (maybe within 6 months) assuming i have 2-3 backlinks from my other sites.
i realize i ruin this by telling you about it, but i wasnt gonna do it anyway. i dont need to do this, but i wanna hear what you think.
personally i think it would generate $100/day

Doesn't work.
I know people doing it.
And they make 1-3 dollars a day.
It simply does not work.
and no there cant be "54543636565" sites doing it maybe 3-5...

A more realistic figure would be "thousands" of sites.
2 1/2 years ago this would have been a great idea, now all it does is add more data pollution to a chronically overspammed web.
I actually know someone who has added some Wikipedia content to their site (for the convenience of their users) and has taken steps to ensure the bots can't get at it.
I always wondered how wikipedia makes money...they dont have any ads on their site at all.
It's a foundation supported mainly by donations.
