Adsense on a website with multiple topics.

Can it be done successfully?

Hello,

I have just started a new website with which I plan on writing articles on various topics that I am interested in.

If I were to write quality, strong content is it possible to earn a good amount (I'm aiming for $10/day) with Adsense as opposed to a site that is focused on one topic?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I have a site like that with around 100 small-med size articles, (90% original).
I am averaging about 6$ per day with a ecpm of $25-30.

So if I can write 1500 more articles (Yikes!), I would be at a $100 per day- minus $10 of it to pay for the carpal tunnel surgery that I would undoubtedly need.

What are your articles about?

Of course, it would work. I don't see why nieche sites should be any different to a broader site when it comes to earning from adsense.

As the rest have said, yes it can work.

But it also depends on:
a) How much effort you plan to put into each topic
b) How broad and deep is each topic (growth potential)
c) How related are your topics (interlinking potential)
d) How popular are the topics (audience)

If some of your topics are deep with much to say about and 'growable' and not too related to the rest, as well as enjoyable for you to write about, you could be better off starting 2 or more sites at the same time.

Personally I would advise going vertical as much as you can, others would advise the grouping into one site, each has its merits and a matter of personal experience really.
