I've got a link unit at the top of my content on my main page and it had well targeted keywords for awhile. But the last few days its had just one keyword listed. While its probably the best paying keyword in my niche, it kinda looks odd all alone there and I'd think this limits my users' options for ads. Other pages still have fully populated link units. Anyone have any insights? Thanks.

Early last December or thereabouts, Google began displaying less than the maximum number of link categories (and less than the maximum number of ads in ad blocks) if their algorithm(s) "think" that will maximize your revenue.

In most cases, I don't like it (i.e., it appears to reduce my clicks and revenues), and I wish Google would always display the maximum number of link categories (or ads). Give the visitors more ad choices, not fewer!

i cant agree, especially with some ad formats (squares) it looks much better when there are for example 2 ads instead of 4 with small font - its trusted and tested
