Ads by Google - Advertise on this site

Seeing this in the middle (as above) of the wide ads of another site and I like it and it would fit in well with the look of my sites. Wish this would go global or maybe Google could make it an option within My Account which we could switch on/off? With the vertical ads, they could give you the option to center the tags, i.e. Ads... at the top, centered, and Advertise... centered, at the bottom.

you mean the "advert on this site" link? It can be turned on in the site targeting ad setting....

or you mean the position of the link instead?

yip, the position. Instead of seeing Ads... on the left and Advertise... on the right of horizontal and to the left top and bottom of vertical, I've spotted them together centered on horizontal - just like the title of this thread.

not so....i emailed google and asked to be removed from site targeting, and google confirmed that they stopped showing site targeted ads on my site but the ads are still showing 'advertise on this site'....

oh really?
I've turned off the "advert on this site" link without any problem, although it took a few hours until the link disappeared.

i am slightly changing the topic, sorry

advertise on this site is basically ppv, how do we gain from it, where does that revenue get reflected in our adsense/what share google is passing on to us

rkhare - this is intended to persuade advertisers to use Adwords. The more competition for kw/position, the higher the price to the advertisers, so there is potentially a payback, but I can't see any way of measuring it.

I try to uncheck the option for the text advertise on this site appearing, but when I save the change, it says error and to contact adsense support. I did that over a week ago and no reply.

Thanks - I wondered how to turn that off.
Just changed mine - no errors shown - expect it will take some time to be enacted.
