How many times aday you keep checking your Adsense account?

I wonder if you guys are just addicted to check your Adsense almost every 30 minutes just like me :)

What do you think? Please share your experience..

I used to check it too often. Now I have installed the firefox plugin which updates every 15 mins. :-D

yeah, much as I try to avoid doing it, i do check at least once every couple of hours. and of course G knows about it too. They have termed it G.A.S.S - Google Adsense Stats Syndrome. Apparently there are many who suffer from this :-)

Roycerus, what plugin is that? Is it official or at least approved by G?

I'm very new to Adsense. Right now experimenting a lot with colors, layout, channels etc. So I log in more often. But I have to confess that sometimes its is plain curiosity!

I check to make sure everything is fine.. which channels is doing better, and sometimes waiting for surprises!

Once a day, usually in the morning. I used to check it multiple times a day, but I tracked how much time I was spending a week doing that, and it was not worth it - I was better off putting that time into something productive for the website.

I think I figured out it was basically the equivalent of two short or one decent-sized article/item a week (time I was spending checking/studying AS stats), and when spread out over a year, that's the equivalent to almost 80 articles (half short, half decent-sized). I would much rather feed the search engines 80 more articles a year than track stats. I could check AS with a plug-in, but once I broke myself of checking multiple times a day, I didn't even feel the need to check it more than once.

I'm using that firefox plugin myself and everytime there's an update I still go to my account just to see on what channels the new clicks were made.

If i were Google i would make the first 3 checks free, and then deduct $1 every time someone checks their Adsense account during the rest of the day.

My G-D, longen, are you serious? What does it cost G if we're obsessive about our accounts?

I log in frequently, but more often than not it's not to check stats, it's to get new code or put something in my filter list.

I find the higher the earnings the more I check. I even have verizon wirless for my laptop so I can check it on the road. By checking I can find out if all is well with my site. If my impressions and earnings drop suddenly I know that I have a potential problem that needs to be addressed.

I also use SysSense. So far I have not heard any negative feedback for SysSense.

Only once or twice a day. Gets rather boring when the click totals aren't increasing by a lot! :)
