Lots of them are cheating people. ex. They're saying they offer something and after revisiting it, it has no any relations with their previous description, it's totally something different. I guess this kind of 'cheating visitors' can bring to google and their publishers potential problems. visitors can remember that 'ads by goooogle' are not usefull to click, they're showing totally opposite what they're looking for and they may put this ads in the same basket as boring banners..
what's your opinion about this?
Unfortunately, some topics attract predators and scum, and you've got to choose between living with them or walking away.
Their are two words that can sum up what google needs to do: QC - Quality Control.
If I can single handedly manage a large-scale content site with four different departments then I know google.com can handle the QC needed behind adsense.
Personally I don’t think they will until they see their revenue slipping and are at the "Need to fix it" point!
It was mentioned in another thread that Google needs to excercise some quality control. I think this is true. People are clicking these ads now, but how long will they continue when they land on irrelevant pages.
Now the rest of us only get a share of whats left.
And you wonder why I ban all of them?
If you're getting MFA ads on your page, I guess that means that the MFA site owners are buying AdWords to promote their sites. I've read many places that this doesn't work very well. Are these people actually making money? If not, you'd think they'd go away.
I got several SEO reguests from MLM (multi level marketing) people. Some of them invest up to 500.--EUR per month for AdSense and have after a half year still no return of invest.
But there are people telling them, they should continue for their fortune.
So there can be a very long communication lag between there is no win and everybody realize this.
Of course. But then google wouldnt get to keep almost all the advertisers budget for themselves!
Why bother increasing the amount they keep when the stupid MFAs do this for them without google being seen to be evil!
Yeah, but Google is a pretty smart company. The surely can see that allowing MFAs (that use Adwords) to exist is undermining the quality of their program.
