Nitro, there is just no way. I saw the numbers. If you sell wheelchairs and put up AdSense as well, it's a run away hit. I'm not quite sure what a content site about wheelchairs is. People don't enjoy reading about wheelchairs. If they go to an online store, sure, they'll read everything about the one they are going to buy.
But as far as "content" site (think - "How to pick a wheelchair" or "10 wheelchair facts") - there is no way it would work. It's just like telescopes, another OK niche (not as good as wheelchairs), but you actually have to have an online store (which is very easy with all the affiliate opportunities and dropshippers) in order for AdSense to work.

Or do you really run a profitable wheelchair site and are afraid that publishing info about this keyword here would somehow hurt your earnings? Don't worry, this niche is MFA proof.

DavidDeprice ;-The rule of thumb is the best site for AdSense is the one that works well WITHOUT AdSense. If AdSense is a must, the site s**s and you won't make any money with AdSense :-

YES ABSOLUTELY TRUE

If the main goal of your site is to make money with Adsense, I don't think you will make It.
You must add affiliate links and JVs to make sure adsense is only an extra source.
Some times people think the ads are part of your site's content so they click because the information is relevant to your site.

OK Salil,

Come here, I whisper in your ear brilliant idea. This idea is guaranteed 100% money maker beyond your wildest dream.

OK here it is... Wheelchair flash game.

But not just ordinary wheelchair flash game, but wheelchair flash game which is geo-targetted to Ukraine. You know how many people is living in Ukraine? Almost 50 million people. And it's even better guranteed because you know what else? This is untapped market. Most of these people still not on the net yet! What a cherry that is! This is what we call emerging market. No competition exists. Guaranteed 100% you can dominate this market. It is so simple you can't lose. 100% guarantee.

It amazes me that people don't realize that it's better that you actually sell something on your site, prior to putting adsense. You really want to those clicks to convert. Hence, you need buyers. I don't know about the guy who said about making money with Forex (AdSense wise). That's BS too. Been there done that. Forex doesn't pay jack. If you don't believe me, use the fake AdSense account technique.
You need to sell stuff, at least it's much better that you do. I know that people say "that's why I like AdSense, because you don't need to sell anything". Well, if you get buyers on your site, or at least people who search for something, that's where AdSense profits are.

DavidDeprice is correct. Buyers not browsers is where the money is. I have a site that does very well with affiliate sales and Adsense. I probably receive around 40-50 aff sales through the site every day. Adsense also does very, very well on the site. I am just about to add 800 hand coded, optimised unique pages to the site. I have sat at my desk day in, day out to rebuild the site. Why? Because users buy from the site. The traffic that I receive is organic and usually at the end of the purchase cycle. I cannot wait to upload the new pages :)

BTW, that wheelchair flash game sounds like a winner.

My site helps people with setting up, programming, repairing wheelchairs and powerchairs. And that is also the site that has the MOST MFAs! Thats one reason that the wheelchair niche is now useless. MFAs targeted it to death! Do you want a list of 100 or so sites in my filter?

Its true it used to pay up to 2 dollars a click. Average 45 cents. 2 years ago. And falling continually. Now for over 6 months that site is down to a few cents average with the same advertisers. Some of my other sites average 2 dollars! But are in areas that originally were not "rich" so were not targeted by millions of garbage sites.

I have another one to avoid! Batteries! I have a site SELLING batteries that never got more than a few cents a click. Too mainstream and done to death...

I other words, you site does not sell wheelchairs. I mean, this is really a strange hobby of yours - to program wheelchairs. Well, anyhow, it always pays to have the other side of the story. Thanks for your input.

How about a straight answer. Do you sell them or do you no sell them?

Yes. But thats a small part of the site. Thing is channels tells me there is no difference in epc from the sale part. Wheelchairs are not a good earner! Yes you sometimes see a high click. But average is dismal.

This is a real built for fun site in the beginning. 9 years ago. Selling chairs, maintaing and customising them was just a hobby really. Most of my other totally unrelated sites get way more epc and total earnings.

But really you need all of them together to add up to a sensible income. All of my sites existed before adsense and have not been updated much if at all in years. Wheelchair site used to earn the most 2 years back. Now its the worst one apart from my batteries site! But at least that one sells batteries!

I'm unfamiliar with batteries. What are we talking about here? Car batteries? Laptop batteries? AAA batteries?
Camcorder batteries? Some other kind of batteries?

Well if you have a site on batteries you get ads for all of those types. None pay even 5 cents! The ultimate forget about advertising on battery related sites! Deep cycle batteries in my case.

One subject close to my heart has no Adsense ads in the Google SERPs even though it shows 117 million results! Just try it:

[google.co.uk...]

Don't think I'll start a site about this...

I have found that the terms 'Ratchet Wrench', 'Bilge Pump' & 'Cross Collateralization' have amazing adsense payouts, especially if you do geo-targeting. See you on the next episode of 'who wants to be an adsense millionare'. 8^)
